Today I’m celebrating three things that happened at the annual Missouri Writers’ Guild conference:
- my debut historical fantasy novel ZERO TIME took third place in the Walter Williams Major Work Award contest sponsored by Missouri Center for the Book
- a super agent with a top-notch agency asked me to submit my young adult novel (THE LABYRINTH OF TIME) for consideration, and
- I sold two books to other writers. (I’m touched by your support and look forward to buying your books one day soon!)
The Walter Williams Major Work Award is “for a major work whether in book form or in some other form of publication, a work considered to be worthy of special recognition because of the research or high literary quality involved in its creation. This award is open to any type of publication.”
Thank you, Missouri Writers’ Guild, for making today possible. 🙂
