Dab of Darkness reviews The Mentor, Solar Lullaby!

DabofDarknessThanks to Susan, audiobook enthusiast & book reviewer at Dab of Darkness, for her awesome reviews of my short story audiobooks, “Solar Lullaby” and “The Mentor!”

THE MENTOR:

The Narration:  Matthew McGraw was a fun narrator for this book. He didn’t giggle at the idea of two-legged girapods traveling space with fake credit cards. Or, if he did, he didn’t record it. I especially liked his voice for Max the leonine credit detective.

What I Liked: Totally fun; crazy cover art; two-legged time traveling, space traveling, credit abusers – need I say more?

What I Disliked: Nothing! I really liked this tale.

SOLAR LULLABY:

solarlullaby1_NarratorThe Narration:  Tiffany Williams was great. She sounded exactly like a driven scientist. She had distinct voices for each of the other characters, including light regional accents for some them. Her male voices were totally believable.

What I Liked: Completely immersed in the tale from the beginning; fascinating idea underpinning the entire story; great lead character complete with history; very satisfying end.

What I Disliked: Nothing! I really liked this tale.
